Manuscript submission is now open for two new article collections: “Sedimentary Organic Matter in the Earth System: Geological Applications” and “Sedimentary Organic Matter in the Earth System: Environmental Applications”.
The aim of the collection is to bring together the latest quality articles from researchers working in the area of organic petrography, organic geochemistry and biogeochemistry, focused on the organic matter characterization to better understand the interaction between the biosphere, geosphere and atmosphere.

This is in collaboration with Frontiers in Earth Science (IF 3.498, CiteScore 3.3). All research will be published Open Access. Additionally, we aim to put together a free eBook of all published manuscripts to provide an up-to-date and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in the field.
