A single book each year receives this award, given for outstanding contributions to geoscience publishing that stimulate new discoveries and the advancement of the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cGeoheritage is an emerging discipline in earth sciences, and <em>Geoheritage<\/em> is the first and only book to discuss sites around the world that are both geologically and historically important,\u201d says Acquisitions Editor Amy Shapiro.
