Resumo: Nowadays, the environmental risk assessment of emerging compounds in real scenarios is crucial, due to their increase in aquatic compartments, which together with their chemical properties, in a context of global changes (eg: population increase, intensification of extreme events, deforestation), can contribute to speed up its impact on the ecosystems balance. This kind of methodology may be an added value for prioritizing hazardous substances in the context of the watershed, with the respective development of specific environmental management actions, within the scope of strategies for improving the ecological and chemical status of water bodies.
